Everything is built on a voucher spine: a document is not a row in an invoices table that separately updates a ledger. It is a voucher that produces entries. That is why the books cannot drift from the documents, and it is why the offline mode is trustworthy — a sync replays vouchers rather than reconciling two half-updated states.
