This QR carries the five fields a simplified invoice needs. A Phase 2 invoice also needs the cryptographic stamp from an onboarded device, which a browser cannot produce.

Doing this every week? The same screen in the Fatoza app keeps the supplier's ledger, allocates payments against each bill, and carries the numbers into the return instead of into a download.

Open it in the app

Fill in the seller, the buyer and the lines; get a PDF you can send. The layout follows the required fields for a Saudi tax invoice and for an Indian GST invoice, switched by which tax mode you pick.

What it gets right that a template does not

  • The QR code is generated from the invoice, at the moment you export. It cannot drift away from the totals the way a pasted code in a spreadsheet does.
  • Arabic and English side by side, laid out properly rather than with the Arabic reversed by a font that does not shape it.
  • Totals that reconcile. Line rounding and total rounding are applied once, not twice, which is the arithmetic behind a large share of rejected invoices.

What it is not

It is not a filing tool. It does not report to ZATCA or register an IRN, because those require a certificate or GSP credentials tied to your registration. For a one-off invoice that is fine. If you are issuing every day, you want the billing app, which does the reporting and keeps the invoice chain intact.

How you get the PDF

The Print button opens your browser’s own print dialog, where “Save as PDF” is one of the destinations. That is deliberate rather than lazy: every JavaScript PDF library has to embed an Arabic font and shape the text itself, and they all get Arabic subtly wrong — letters that do not join, runs that come out reversed. Your browser already has a correct shaper. Printing through it produces a bilingual A4 page that is right, at no download cost.

Nothing you type is stored on a server — the document is built in your browser. Your own business details are remembered on your device so the next invoice starts filled in; the Clear button removes them.

Frequently asked questions

Does this make my invoice legally compliant?

It produces the correct document. Compliance also requires reporting or clearance through a registered device, which a browser tool cannot do on your behalf. For occasional invoices the document is usually what you need; for daily issuing you need the full app.

Is there a watermark or an invoice limit?

Neither.

How do I save it as a PDF?

Press Print and choose Save as PDF in your browser's print dialog. The tool uses the browser's own renderer rather than a PDF library because JavaScript PDF libraries shape Arabic incorrectly — unjoined letters and reversed runs — and your browser does not.
