Frequently asked questions
Is ZATCA Phase 2 really free?
Yes, on every plan including the free one. Phase 2 compliance costs us almost nothing per taxpayer — onboarding and CSID issuance happen on ZATCA's side — so charging for it would mean charging you for the law.
Is Fatoza certified by ZATCA?
No vendor is. ZATCA does not certify or approve accounting software; it publishes a compliance SDK and an onboarding process that a solution has to pass. Fatoza passes it. Treat any vendor that claims to be ZATCA-certified with suspicion.
What happens after the free year?
Your data stays yours and stays readable — it is a local SQLite file you can export at any time. You either move to a paid plan or keep using the version you have. We will not lock your invoices behind a paywall.
What does free to try mean on the AI tools?
The tools that call an AI model have a monthly allowance of requests. When it runs out you either wait for the next month or move to a paid plan. Everything that does not call a model is simply free.
