Clinic and polyclinic billing software — OPD consultations and procedures

Outpatient consultations, procedures and follow-ups billed to patients on a tariff. Set up as a clinic and the Clinic app switches itself on alongside the billing, with patient demographics on the patient record.

What setup switches on

  • Reception POS
  • Tariffs
  • Books and banking
  • Purchase bills
  • VAT / GST return
  • Clinic app

Chosen on the first screen, from what the business does. Everything here can be turned off again in Settings — nothing is locked to the trade.

What the app calls things

  • CustomerPatient
  • ItemService
  • InvoiceBill
  • Price listTariff

The screens are the same. The words on them are yours.

An outpatient clinic bills small amounts, many times a day, to people who are standing at the desk. Reception speed is the requirement; the books are the consequence.

Reception

Consultation, procedure, follow-up. Billed at the desk from a screen built to be driven quickly, with the correct tax invoice printed — the ZATCA QR in Saudi Arabia, a GST bill in India.

Tariffs rather than discounts

Different payers pay different rates. That is a price list on the account rather than a discount someone applies from memory, which is the only version of it that survives a busy Thursday.

The patient is a person, not a row in whichever app saw them first

Date of birth and the other demographics sit on the patient record. Age decides a reference range on a lab report and a paediatric dose, so the fact belongs to the person and is shared by every app in the business that needs it.

Where the Clinic app starts

Billing is billing. Appointments and visit records are the Clinic app, which enables itself on this industry by agreeing on the same id — nothing is installed and nothing is bought. A clinic that only wants to bill can leave it switched off and lose nothing.

What it costs

Free for the first year, compliance included. Paid plans buy support and AI capacity.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the pack and the Clinic app?

A consultation fee is an ordinary sales invoice for a service, and that is the pack. An appointment book and a visit record are their own screens and their own tables, and that is the app. Neither needs the other — a clinic that only bills can leave the app off.

Where do patient demographics live?

On the patient record, as fields the pack declares — date of birth and the rest. They were already being written by the pharmacy and lab apps; declaring them here is what finally puts them on a screen a receptionist can correct.

Can consultations and procedures have different rates by payer?

Yes. A tariff is a price list, and a price list belongs to the account, so an insurer's rate and a cash rate can both be right at the same time.
